This problem continues on a brand new computer and clean Win 10 install. I upgraded to a MSI Cubi2-005BUS (Kaby Lake cpu) configured the same as the NUC with MC 22.0.54. Now the computer randomly completely hangs when changing channels, and a new twist, while just watching a channel. When this occurs, the picture freezes and the audio goes into a very short loop. The computer needs to be reboot by holding down the power button because the computer becomes completely unresponsive. Is there a buffer setting or something else I can try to prevent this issue? Could the displayport to hdmi adapter be defective? Memory diagnostics show no issues, so I don't think that is the problem. I'm out of ideas... Thanks.
