Author Topic: MC 11.00.90 will only play the one song cued before starting up; then crashes.  (Read 1627 times)

Hi
This is really weird and annoying.  :o
I downloaded 11.00.92 to see if it would fix the problem with the same result.

Ouite simply I think it is because of the new Library Browser. the Browser worked fine holding down the shift in this version 11.00.86 without effecting MC operations.
But after playing the song cued at Startup MC 90 brings up the message

"Media Core has Encountered an unknown Problem and must Close".
I tried a different song and MC disappeared without a trace. I tried playing a song from my folder and it played and then crashed.
I am out of ideas.

Well, here I am with the same problem, using the very latest version of MC 11...

So let's see if we can figure out what causes the problem. It definitely only happens when using DSP effects. Especially the output format to 5.1
I just tried with only using the DFX DSP plugin and everthing worked fine.

My sound card is a SounBlaster Live! 5.1 btw.
