WASAPI no longer works [Solved]

Hi,

Starting yesterday I get a "Something went wrong with Playback - cannot play WASAPI" error when trying to use that mode. I can play "Direct Sound," but no way can I use WASAPI. I can play files in VLC through WASAPI, but not MC21. I have tried Rev 27-30 with the same results. This is with all file types.  

Tried all the usual resets with the PC.

Any suggestions?

I did the next logical step, reinstalled the NVidia driver. Problem solved.
