Problem with streaming playlists

Haven't heard a response. Was wondering if this was a bug or by design. When I play a streaming playlist such as .m3u, there is no song info displayed in MC (OK, well it does say song, but I'm going to have close to 100,000 of these so a more detailed way of referring to a song will need to be displayed). I can see it in the file .m3u, seems like it would be easy enough to parse so I'm assuming this is a bug or I'm missing a buried setting?
