Crossfade not working

388.  No matter what I set the crossfade to, right after one track ends there is silence for the crossfade time then the next track abruptly starts playing.   I know this worked in prior versions.  What can be wrong?

Never mind.  I had Output Bitdepth set to 32 which was causing the problem, set it back to 16 or Source and all is fine.

What do u have the duration set to? Default is 4 seconds. Is it true for both crossfades (smooth/aggressive)? What happens if you pick Gapless?

If your running W2k or XP change Output to DirectSound and bitdepth to 16 or source bitdepth. Hit the Settings button and move slider all the way to More Responsive. Since your having a playback problem doing the above may help.
