synched ipod with playlists; library gone!

I had a whole library synched with my ipod.

Then I created 3 playlists and manually chose to synch them. 

Now the library is gone, except for the songs that are in the 3 playlists!

I even made sure to uncheck the "delete on synch" checkbox.

Any ideas on what happened?  Or how to get my library back?  Or how not to have this happen again?

What version are you using?  The current version is MC 11.1.186.  You can get it here:

I'm using 11.1.183 that I downloaded like 2 weeks ago.

Has anything changed since then that would cause this?

Were you able to sync OK using the whole library and only started having problems when you started using playlists, or did you always have this problem?

I have the same problem with my 4GB Nano.  2 playlists, ~500 songs.  Sync, and...  poof, no library!

I'm running MC 11.1.186.  I posted details of the problem in another post.
