My MC Hang when I trying to choose Encoder "MP3 Encoder" in -OPTION -ENCODING, I can choose all other encoder whitout any problem, Its same in 12.0.240 and also 12.0.251 I have uninstall MC plugin and uninstall Nero and also uninstall all Codec pack. I also tryed to Uninstall MC, restart, Install MC from scratch, problem still exist...   Someone who have any solution?

Is the computer that you're doing this on connected to the internet at the time when you choose the MP3 encoder?  The first time you choose it, MC downloads and installs the LAME MP3 encoder (which for licensing reasons isn't included as part of the install package).

Also, when you say it hangs when you choose it.  Does it hang when you first actually select it, or when you try to use it?  If it's when you try to use it, what do you have selected under the Encoder Settings dialog?

My computer is connected to local network who is connected to ADSL
I can mark "MP3 Encoder" in the drop menu but when I leftclick (select ), computer hangs, the only way to get out of this is to hard reset , I cant get to "Activitymanager" and cant do anyting its stone dead (hmm...  maybe not the right name , swedish XP )

I don't know why your PC hangs. Perhaps something prevents MC from connecting to Internet.

As a workaround you can try to install the MP3 encoders manually. You can download the same LAME and GoGo encoders from these links:

Close MC. Unzip the packages and place the "lame.exe" and "gogo.exe" files in the [your MC12 program path]\Plugins\ folder. MC's MP3 encoder interface plugin (enc_mp3.dll) should be able to find the encoder files automatically after restarting MC.

YES.. I downloaded Lame and gogo as you say and save it into Plugin folder, now its function
