Whenever I start Media Center (12.0.301) I get Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error!   ... application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.  I disabled the DFX DSP, but it didn't help.  I usually have to try 2 or more times to get Media Center to a state that is stable enough to work.  Sometimes I have to delete some files in the Cache folder.  I usually run the MC on my second monitor.  I'm not doing Media Server, but this is on a corporate PC behind a proxy server.  This problem has been with me for all the Version 12 releases I've tried.  I have Visual Studio 6.0 loaded on my machine.  Is any level of .net software needed?  I've pared my library down to about 8000 songs from 12000.  Can't think of any other issues.

MC12 has logging options under Help.  Try turning them on and posting the last few lines of the current log.
