DVD audio problem
« on: March 01, 2008, 02:28:06 pm »

DVD playback has no audio.  It works fine with other players on system but not with MC12.  Any ideas?  Thanks

Isn't MC still using the "engine" from either WinDVD or PowerDVD? How does the DVD play in either of those?

Usually it works if either of those programs is installed, but not always.

Possibly the problem is caused by incompatible, missing or incorrectly configured audio codecs & filters. There are ways to troubleshoot this, but first I would recommend reading the following wiki article and installing the freeware CCCP codec and filter pack that is explained in the article:

Thank you - The CCCP download worked perfectly and corrected the problem.
