Holy cow!  I know exactly where you guys are.  I helped my friend Cory Howard start up the Pairie Star coffeeshop right next door about 16, 17 years ago.  Sorry to hear of her passing about 8 years ago, she was a special kind of gal.

If that is Janine's Coffee shop I ran into it with my car some years ago.

Congrats on the big 3 0.

Nice to get to know you a little better. Thanks.

What's the story on the Commutator Foundry?

Wood stoves were and are a good idea in many areas. What caused the business to decline?

The foundry was located in the building when I bought it in 1979.

I wish I knew why the stove business died.  I enjoyed it.

Hey Guys:

Just got this link via e-mail, it is great to put names and faces together finally!

Congratulations..amazing that you evolved from a wood stove business into the premier media software developer.

It just proves , I guess that when you apply imagination with equal parts passion, you can do anything.

I am now an evangelist for J River, I thought I had reached the pinnacle with Foobar 2000. Obviously not.

J River moved me into enjoying computer audio, it is an essential component now and for always.

Again, congrats!

Happy Birthday JRiver!

As a lapsed customer (Currently spending more time & money on my kids than my MP3 collection!) its good to get a reminder about what makes companies like yours special. Its great that you have always been able to put your real names behind your deliveries, and now we get mugshots too!

Not hiding behind an anonymous 'support department' or an anonymous forum alias has always set JRiver apart from the rest, and the quality of your deliveries and your attention to the needs of your customers has always been high. Its clear to me that these 3 things go hand in hand!

30 Years is a lifetime in the software business, you have outlived numerous global household names in the industry, survived the dotcom crash, various recessions and financial crises, and you are still going strong and doing what you do best!

Heres to another 30 years! - Cheers!

Amazing work guys and a really big congrats! Think I've been a user since media jukebox circa 98-2000ish? (I know I was still living with my parents, yikes!) Don't recall how I came across it but it has been my #2 goto app for over a decade. Only wish I had more time to be a more active participant and learn more of the guts, but work and family demand much these days with 3 little ones under 6 years of age :P Best wishes for a fresh new year with many more to come! Thanks for all your hard work that helps make everyday a bit more fun to live! :D

My audio collection grew 10 times over the years but thanks to you enjoying it today is easier than 15 years ago. By now my wife and my kids are using it too on their laptops.

Congratulations and thanks for making such a wonderful piece of software! I just recently discovered Media Center 17's ability to convert my WMA Lossless rips and FLAC downloads to high quality VBR mp3s for syncing to the memory card on my Android phone. Combining this with high quality aptX streaming to my portable Bluetooth speaker (Soundmatters FoxL v2) or through a set of high quality ear-buds (Etymotic ER-4P), I'm FINALLY happy with the sound of mp3s while on the road. Bravo to JRiver!
