It seems pressing space executes the Play command even while entering text in the YouTube search page. It starts playing what ever is in the Playing Now queue, and displays the error in the post above if Playing Now is empty.

I also got the same error as above trying to play a YouTube video inside the player. Tried several different videos with the same result.

In case someone is wondering, I'm also on build 136, Standard View.

Just out of curiosity...

... when the Youtube support in MC18 is working correctly, what is the advantage of using it - over just playing Youtube in a browser ?

For me, I have to use loopback in order to hear anything from web sites and I have about a 1.5 second delay in audio playback in all loopback situations.  I understand that isn't supposed to be there but it is.  therefore in order to get rid of the delay I have to watch it in JRiver.  This is also true for Hulu.  If I watch via chrome or IE, I have audio delay.  If I watch from within JRiver no delay.

Thanks,

Also, MC18's option to save/download a video is very easy and convenient.

Is that new? I don't remember experiencing that in prior releases.

I've been using it at least since MC 16. Very nice feature :)

The space issue is a bug, and should be fixed next build.  Sorry.

Some of the internals of Media Center are changing to support Mac (first release today!), so there are a few things leaking out the other side.  Your patience is appreciated.

Youtube in a browser gives you playlists, favourites, etc.
