music searches
« on: March 12, 2013, 09:16:09 pm »

I have two versions of "I'm my own grandpa". Each has its own flac file.  After running autoimport-
Search box: "grandpa" produces at best only one of them and sometimes not even that

Play doctor: brings up a list of 199 classical tracks and starts playing one of them
 tried it again: no search results.

then I tried search - wizard -  title- contains - grandpa.  No search results.
What's wrong?

thanks

Tags have not been imported for one of the files?

Assuming that 'grandpa' is in the file name of both files, try a list of all audio, and enter: [filename]='grandpa' into the search bar in the top right. Are both files listed now?

Use double-quotes, not single quotes.  In this case, they are not necessary.

[filename]=grandpa

I've been having troubles searching my self and found that you need to highlight whatever category you want to search. You need to klick audio before searching an audio track. Hope this helps.
