MC as a Gift
You can give MC as a gift by visiting this page:

[Latest newsletter follows]

Greetings,
We hope you're warm this season.  We've had a few highs around zero Fahrenheit here in Minnesota recently, but we've still had a lot of fun.

Entertainment Opportunity?
This season, you can purchase a license for JRiver Media Center (Windows or Mac) and send it to your love, your kid who won't be home, or your best friend from high school.  Just visit this page: Gift Purchase

Visual Feast
MC19 now has high resolution artwork, and a rich, colorful new Retina look.

Up Size Your Graphics
If you need a fatter Standard View for a big screen, you can select Tools > Size, and 150% (for example).  The images will still look great.

For Your Ears Only
Loudness is now controlled through R128, a new and better way to prevent unwelcome changes in audio.

Reporter Power
If you need to know why Windows is shutting down too soon or too late or never, you will welcome the new Reporter feature.  Explore Reporter in the tree under Services.  Learn what MC is up to and how it's interacting with your system.

The Beatles or Beatles, The?
Use the newly expanded articles tool for more control, especially in languages other than English.

Update or Upgrade?
If you purchased MC for Windows any time after July 1, you can update by downloading the latest and installing it.  You'll get all these new features and more, with no additional cost.  Download

Save Four Bucks on an Upgrade
If you have an older version of MC, and haven't purchased MC19 yet, you can upgrade now for $22.98 ($4 off).  Ends December 30.
Upgrade to MC19 (Windows)

Mac and Linux
The latest builds and the latest news are always on the JRiver Forum.  MC19 for Mac adds Mac-specific improvements like Integer mode, Retina support, Apple IR remote support, and spectrum analyzers.  If you have an MC18 Mac license, you can upgrade here:
Upgrade to MC19 (Mac)

More New Features:
MC19 also has Television channel grouping, power manager, TV recording tagging, user accounts, CAF support.  Complete Feature List

Thank You
JRiver had the best year ever, and by a wide margin.  Thank you!

Warm Holiday Wishes from

Stand by for today's build.

You may have some services turned off, but that shouldn't affect this one.
