Set custom view as standard View on startup
« on: April 03, 2015, 06:33:30 am »

Hi MC-Users,
I configured my prefered View in MC20 (see attachment). Problem is, whenever I restart MC I have to reset to Albums (left split window) and Player (right split window).
Is there a way to automatically have my custom View set on startup?

Thx for your help

I was under the impression that MC starts up on the view it was closed on.

By default, it loads the start pages. To get it to start up where it was closed....

You need to go to:
Tools > Options > Startup > Startup Interface

and set it to "Last Location"

Then you will be all good.

Thx, setting it to "Last Location" did the trick.
One last thing: the Album content view won't restore after restart (see attachment).

Ist there a way to reset it, too?

There's an option in there somewhere, I think it's in "customise view", that's called "Always show files" and it will do what you want when enabled. If no-one has posted before I get an MC in front of me later on, I'll point you right at it.
