No new EPG data for UK after 5th September (MC21)
« on: September 06, 2015, 03:44:56 pm »

Hi,

I was using MC20 and no EPG data was available after the end of August. So I upgraded to MC21 and the built-in version of mc2xml did download future listings using the "microsoft" service. But now I only have listings to, approximately, midnight on 5th September. I've re-run mc2xml, both from within MC21 and outside, and no new data's available. Given it's now September 6th I can't use the TV function...

Does anyone know how to get new EPG data?

Thanks,

Jonathan

It looks like the Internet-based EPG delivery is broken, at least for the UK, and even with the unlocked version of mc2xml. However, I now have an EPG which is retrieved over the air, like my TV does so that must be good (?), using "EPG Collector". Full details in this post:
