Q: What does the following error mean and how do I get past it during install?
Setup Error 432: Setup has detected that uninstall shield is in use. Please close uninstall shield and restart.

A: This is a generic installshield error. Things to try are:

1) Installing ICE.TCP.PRO in Safe mode. Run configwizard as your normal login user after the install.

2) Make sure you are installing as a user with admin capability. You can run as a limited user after getting a sequence number (running configwizard).
 
3) Delete all instances of IsUninst.exe from the Windows directory and retry the install.
