LicenseAdmin on Windows 7 - Unable to Delete Sequence#
« on: January 21, 2013, 04:22:48 pm »

Customer is running LicenseAdmin on a Windows 7 Pro workstation with 31 licenses (version 5.1.25).

He's attempting to free up a sequence# by using the Delete operation which appears to work at first.

However, after Exiting and Restarting LicenseAdmin, the deleted sequence# reappears.

Is there a known solution to this problem?

Is the license server also of the same vintage? You can get some undesirable results using a older license server with newer configwizards.

It's also possible that the the user running licenseadmin doesn't have the privileges to write to the Licenses folder. You might try right clicking on licenseadmin and do "run as adminstrator".
