Client Configuration Issues
« on: November 02, 2004, 10:06:56 am »

Version 5.1
Client Installed on XP Pro
Server installed on Windows 2000 Server

Using ICE.TCP to connect to an application called Rims (qiclink - by Trizetto) running on an HP UX server
Client installs successfully

1.  The print screen function produces 3 blank pages and a content page for every print job.

2.  Configuring the appearance settings in the connection profile has no effect on the appearance of the application.

3.  Does the connection method produce different behavior in the application, for example,  does connecting with SSH versus Telnet affect the appearance or behavior of the application?

Probably a winprinter. Try the 5.1.25 or newer client and select raster print in the profile.

Make sure to change all of the color paramters in the profile, not just the foreground and background.

SSH and Telnet should act the same with respect to colors.

When you change the DEFAULT profile you need to exit and restart the program for the changes to take effect.
