Greetings,
This certainly is not new, however when using the auto login user/password (which in and of itself is a huge security problem) on Unix/Linux login, the user can hit the enter key or key some user name and the prompt for the password will go by and echo the user password at  the login:  prompt, showing the password. After calling Sony for help, they said, "Don't use auto login".
Do you have any comments?

Thanks in advance.

This of course assumes that the users machine is secure.
If you use ssh instead of telnet the login and password are passed with the ssh interactive profile and aren't visible.
