TCP Plus EVer 7.10 Win ver 8.5
« on: October 19, 2005, 09:07:00 am »

Upgraded from Telnet Pro to TCP PLus for Windows, Build 24, Emulation Version 7.10a/32, Windows Interface Version : 8.5.  We have more than on e location connected by a WAN, and in Telnet Pro I had the ability to choose at login which location to login to.  I cannot find this option in TCP Plus.  Is it there and if so how do I configure.

I'm not sure what ability you are describing.  By the time you get to a login, you are already connected to a particular host. I'm not sure how Pro allows you to choose which host during  a login. Perhaps if you gave more details it would help.

PLUS has the select box when it first comes up. There is a little triangle to the right of the host name that lets you select other hosts. You add the host to the blank box and hit the add button to add a new host. Of course if you turn on auto connect you can't select multiple hosts!!

Another way to do this that is user friendly (if you only have a couple of hosts) is to create shortcuts to dejawint (PLUS) on the desktop and add the -h=1.2.3.4 (where 1.2.3.4 is the address of your unix host) to the command line.
