cannot create new session

I have a user getting an error when opening telnet pro the error says:
"cannot create new session please run config wizard" I ran config wizard, did no good, I then deleted the user from the admin and reran config wizard still no good, not sure what the problem is.

FYI: this is on the Admin computer, all the other telnet programs are running fine, and this one was until all of a sudden this problem started.

Sounds like you proobably have mixed versions of the licenseadmin and the PRO client.

Check to see what client version you have, help->version info.

Don't try to go below 5.0.81. Get an update and install it on the licenseadmin machine and rerun setup FROM THERE (not from the original CD). It's under program files->J River->IECTCP5 Server->TCP5_USER->setup.exe

This PC had worked fine before and then this problem just cropped up all of a sudden.   Really strange, I will check the versions, but I don't think that  is the problem.  The machine having the issue is the licenseadmin machine.

The other possibility is that the machine is unable to write to the registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->J.River which it needs to do to get a sequence number.

Doh!   The network cable was bad, new cable fixed the problem, thanks for the help and the speedy responses.
