Ucopy with Dejawin
« on: October 19, 2006, 11:13:36 am »

I used remote desktop to connect to the windows server, then logged in to the unix server via dejawin & com1: port,  then ran Ucopy to tranfer a group of files.
During the night the windows server had an error (unrelated to the transfer) & shutdown my ucopy & dejawin.
I tried to restart dejawin & get 'Error opening serial port: COM1, port already opened....'
No ucopy job is running on the unix side, so I re-booted the server & still can not get in. I have also logged off & on...
If I try to get to the unix server via the windows server (not via remote deskop), it will connect fine, so the com1: port is good. It's just my profile via Remote desktop.
How can I kill this ucopy?

Did you reboot your remote PC? If that didn't do it, it seems like the problem is a corrupt user profile on windows server, I'd suggest a google search on how to reset it. It could also be that you have lost permissions on the windows server to open the serial port remotely.
