ICE Ten Startup Issues
« on: August 14, 2006, 11:55:45 am »

I am running version 4.7.12 (emulation version 7.10a and windows version 7.1.1) on a shuttle XPC running Windows XP.  There is an intermitent start up issue.  Windows wil start up fine.  When I open the Dejawin program, I get a black screen.  Under task manager, it says the program is not responding.  I then have to terminate the program from the task manager window.  After a restart of the entire computer, everything works normally.  I am kinda stumped as to why this is an issue.  The only thing I can think of is that I have a wireless keyboard and mouse attached to the 2 machines that are having the problem.  Thanks.

Sounds like you are having with the com port. Make sure your ice comm protocol is xon/xoff or none.

If that doesn't do it, look for something else running on the port like a fax server or some such.

In setice. (click on the picture of the circuit board on the dejawin tool bar or go to the start menu, programs, ice.ten, setice).
