Ice Pro with DSL

Ice pro connected over the internet disconnects after approx 5 mins of idle time
Client is Windows XP with Comcast DSL cable
Unix host is Qwest dsl

any ideas

This topic has been discussed here before. You are being timed out by the firewall, nat, whatever. Your only option is to try to turn on keepalives on the server side.

I did a google search on SCO UNIX KEEPALIVES and the one that came up first explains what they are and where to look for tuning instructions. Note that there problem is pretty much the opposite of yours but the solution is the same, changing the keepalive timer parameters on the UNIX system.
