I am using ftp pro of ice tcp plus since many years. I just upgraded to build 28 to be able to use it on a windows 7 machine. The installation went well, but when I try to transfer a file from my unix box (I have reboot the windows machine after installation), I got the message:
error getting the requested file. A component of the software is either not installed or you did not restart windows after installating then sotfware.
Please restart windows and try again.
What am I doing wrong ?

I just retested this on a clean win7 32 bit system and it worked fine. Are you using 32 bit or 64 bit? If 32 bit try reinstalling. Are you starting it up by using FtpPro from the start menu or from the FtpPro button in TelnetPro? If 32 try reinstalling.

I am using windows 7 professional 32 bits. I have already tried it on 3 differents machines and I got the same trouble. I always start ftp pro from the start menu. It is possible that a .dll required by ice-tcp is missing from then install disk or from windows 7 installation ?

Did you disable firewalls and virus programs when you installed?  What size license of PLUS do you have?

A have a licence of 5 users and I use only Ftp Pro of the package Ice-Tcp plus.
No, I don't have disable the firewall or then anti-virus during the installation. Do I need to have the administrator rights too ?

Yes, please disable firewalls and virus programs, and log in with administrative privileges.
