Hello I have a Unix system 5 (Running Southware) server that I dial in to with ICE Ten, We have a network Laserjet 4M that printed fine in XP but this new Vista machine does not print reports in a condensed format? I am a UNIX novice with this and would appreciate some tips. I have tried printing in Raw format from the file menu in ICE ten and that did not seem to help.
Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

What version of ICE.TEN are you running?

I believe the version is v4.7.14.

If you change the printing method to "raster" in file->local print setup Dejawin will print to the LaserPrinter using line printer emulation (which means your unix app should be set to print to a simple line printer). This may solve your problem.
"Normal" printing in versions of windows > 95 rely on a feature in the windows printer driver that isn't required to be present in the driver and is supported by some but not all printer drivers.

Thanks for your reply, however.
I believe that I have been using the Raster option already.

Ryan,
If you are using the raster driver, then you should tell your unix app that it's printing to a standard line printer, this is usually done in the application setup somewhere.
You can force the dejawin to ALWAYS print in condensed print by altering the horizontal divisor in the inifile. Check:
