Title: sessions being disconnected
Post by: jimmyv on September 14, 2010, 11:24:54 pm
We have just upgraded our terminal servers to Win2008R2 and installed the ICETCP 4.4 32 bit (4.4.28).  (emulation version 7.10a/32  Win Interface  Version 8.5)

Our users sessions are being disconnected on a regular basis and in the application they are connecting to their session has the following error against it: "waiting on global semaphore"

Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions as to what the disconnections may be caused by?

I am not certain if it will make a difference, but you might try changing the "keepalive" to 6
ICE Configuration > General > Keep Alive Interval
Let us know.

It's likely that the sessions are being timed out by a router or the unix machine itself and the keepalive should fix the problem.
