Title: User Network Install
Post by: merchantman on December 10, 2010, 09:15:31 am
I'm trying to do a user install from  the admin server, and when I try to run setup, the system hangs for a few minutes before issuing the error
Setup is unable to find installation languages in \\AdminPC\TCP5_User\TCPPRO\Setup.lid file    Error 105

The file is there and it looks okay on the admin (XP) machine.

The version is 5.1.26 and the server is on XP Pro

I did a network user install yesterday on a vista machine and it worked, but it won't work on this one.  This user is also vist 32bit

Any ideas

Hi Merchantman,
Did you post this before or after I replied to your direct email?  Is this still an issue?

Hi Deanna, It's still a problem, and I tried what you suggested in the direct email.

One of the features in versions 5.1.27 and newer of PRO is that they handle UAC so you wouldn't have to disable it if you had a newer version.
