Title: MAYA Uploading Error

Hi All,
I'm useing Maya 5.0 on my Dell , running XP Pro, I have a full Gig of Ram, My file that i try uploading is about 127 megs.  Problem is sometimes the file drops parts of the model , before upload is finished.  At other times when i go to my render view everything freezes up with an Error that reads:

Runtime Error
Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library
Program:C:\ Program Files\AliasWavefront\maya5.0\bin\maya.exe
Abnormal Program Ternimation
(In MAYA it Reads)   Free memory is Low. Memory Exception thrown
Any suggestions ??????? ;D ;D

That has NOTHING to do with our product!!!
