Title: Sequence Number Errors
Post by: jason777 on April 14, 2004, 10:21:56 am
A client of ours bought 2 copies of Ice TCP Pro.  They installed the server and client on both machines.  They received a sequence number error.  Both machines using #1.  We uninstalled the program from the 2nd computer and when we reinstalled it we used the floppy disk method for accessing the sequence number.  IceTCP Admin on the first computer shows the 2nd computer as sequence number 2.  When we start Ice TCP Pro on both machines we still get the sequence number error.  Any suggestions?

The admin/server portion can only be installed on 1 machine!

Delete the second server installation.
Run licenseadmin on the remaining server.
Delete the two users.
Rurun configwizard on BOTH machines by browsing to the TCP_USER share on the admin   machine and then into TCP-PRO (for 5.1 client) or TCP4-32 (for the 4.4 client) and running configwizard.exe or configwizard44.exe

This should take care of your problem.
