Title: Installing ICE.TCP Pro on Citrix Server
Post by: Tony on May 18, 2004, 11:38:25 am
I just installed the Server portion (Version 5.0.67) on one of our new Citrix servers and then continued with the Client portion, which we will then publish to our users.

After the client install on the Citrix Server and a reboot, I attempt to put in the IP of the box it needs to connect to and I get this error message "Can not create new session. Please run ConfigWizard."  I have run it a few times but it still does not work.  I am currently using a temporary key until we straighten out our unlimited key issue.

Thanks,
Tony

Note:  Our Citrix Server is running on a new Windows 2003 Server.

You cannot properly run versions <5.0.81 on 2K/XP/2003 machines. Those versions were developed long before XP. You need to get an update and install it on your server.

You may have to remove some registry entries from the 5.0.67 version to get the new install to work. Check other posts regarding this.
