Hello-
I have Ice.Tcp Pro version 5.1.9 loaded on a machine running windows XP. Now ,when I had the same version running on NT, I had a host list. Since I have received my new machine, the host list appears to have disappeared. If I hit the little show host list icon, it merely toggles the Telnet Pro window from being active to not. I would really like to get my host list back. Any ideas?
Thanks tons,
Mary

If the XP machine had a version of PRO older than 5.0.81 AT ANY TIME, the solution is to check this thread:
http://yabb.jriver.com/ice/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=210
If it has only ever had 5.1.09 on it then the only thing I can think of is that the program was installed as a limited user or else something is preventing the writing of the registry (where the hosts are stored).
I would suggest removing both the HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->J.River folder and the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->J.River folder (that's the two j>river folders, not the stuff above them). Then reinstall PRO.
