Title: lost host

We had a DSL modem go bad at our business and now we cannot use our telnet pro version 5.1.19 says cannot find host -need help thank you

There wasn't a lot of information in your post. I can only guess that the loss of you DSL has messed up either routing or DNS. You could try putting the hosts IP address instead of it's name when you try to connect.

sorry-I have windows xp -I have tried using the router address and the default ip 192.168.0.121 -Tried sending ping on this ip address no response-how do I get to config wizard? maybe I need to set something up again thank you.

You do NOT want to rerun configwizard. It won't help you with a dns or routing problem. Configwizard is only for getting a sequence number for telnetpro.

If your unix server address is 192.168.0.121 and you cannot connect to that then it appears that your problem is with routing. There isn't really anything I can help you with on that front. You will have to get a network administrator or consultant to fix that.

Thank you for the help-we have a network problem-not a problem with telnet pro
