Title: winsock error
Post by: waidbarks on September 06, 2004, 10:36:14 pm
I successfully connected to xp pc's to my network with Ice.TCP Plus (5 license version), but I'm having trouble with two other PC's that I want to connect to the network.  Have an easy configuration answer?  Can you refer me to manual documentation on how to troubleshoot this?

Need more info. Windows version, etc. If you are using Windows 98 and an old version of ICE.TCP you need to update your internet explorer to version 6 to fix a bug in Microsofts 16 bit winsock.

Windows XP. It may not be your software or my settings.  I may have one or two bad connections from wall jacks in office out to patchboard in electrical room where everything is connected to hubs and routers. Now three out of four added PC's are working properly.
