Title: Fatal ICE.TCP Pro configuration error 777
Post by: EBMC on December 02, 2004, 03:19:36 pm
I have two users getting a dejavu box with the following message.

This message was generated due to a conflict between 10.3.0.206 and 10.3.0.138 with sequence number 53

This Telnet Pro session will be closed in approximately 1 minute.

How do I stop this from occuring.  I have uninstalled ICE.TCP Pro on the PC and still get the same error.  I have also run ConfigWizard.

You need to run configwizard on BOTH boxes, they are sharing the same sequence number. Make sure that you only have one licenseadmin server and that the configwizard on each of the 2 conflicting boxes is a shortcut pointing at the same licenseadmin server.

I ran ConfigWizard on both PCs but that didn't help.  We are running the licenseadmin on only one server.  Both PCs point to that server.  When I checked the licenseadmin on the server it shows one of the PCs with sequence number 53 and the other with 57.

Delete both 53 and 57 from licenseadmin and rerun configwizard on both machines.
If you have a current version you can see what each PC THINKS it's sequence number is, see:
