Hi, we use Ice TCP Pro to connect to our SCO Unix system - our in-house expertise retired last year and we've not had too many problems that we can't solve. However, we are getting an issue installing the client on Windows 7 64-bit machines. Is this something that is supported?
The Ice TCP Pro bit installs ok but when we browse to the folder for license files, we get an error "ConfigWizard could not determine the operating system you are using"
We have always used Windows XP 32-bit but now some of our machines are Windows 7 64-bit. We can install fine on Windows 7 32-bit and XP. On the 64-bit machine, we've tried the compatibility mode but to no avail.
To add confusion, we are sure we have installed this fine on other Win7 64-bit machines at a remote site (but I cannot be 100% they were 64-bit machines).
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Mat

5.1.25 really isn't compatible with Vista and newer. The current version is 5.1.30 and the Vista and newer support was working in 5.1.28.
It'd be best to update. You may try playing with the compatibility settings in Windows but since the data isn't stored in the roaming profile directory in 5.1.25 I don't know how much good that will do.
