Running Version 5 of ICE.TCP Pro, 3 Clients and 1 Admin.
Recently, i moved the admin to a new computer and formatted the old. Then, , i added a Pro Client onto the older computer. I have 3 license keys we bought for our network, so I've added in two:
(Licenses removed)
However, now the 3rd code can't be entered into License Admin.
(license removed)
When I do enter it in, it tells me of a runtime error.
Pop Up's Title: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error
Text: Runtime Error!
Program: ...FILES\J RIVER\ICETCP5 SERVER\TCP5 ADMIN\LICENSEADMIN.EXE
abnormal program termination
What's up?

Find out exactly what version you are running, 5 isn't enough info.
On a client PC, help->version information in pro.
PM me with your company name (DON'T reply to this message with your company name, send me a PM (instant message)) and I'll check the licenses. Is it possible you are trying to install an old version from a CD that had been updated to a newer version at some time on the old server??

Hi,
I have just downloaded the latest version of Ice Pro (5.1), this is a trial version, wich is ok since i'm trying the product ;)
My only problem is (a big one), that i get the same error as mentioned above. The error appears during installation, at the point where I have to type in my company name and the key. I used the key that I received in my mailbox.... Can someone tell me what to do?
Thanks!

Check the key CAREFULLY. Both it AND the company name are case sensitive, space sensitive and punctuation sensitive.
If you still have trouble with it, send me a PM (instant message) with your company name and I'll test it out here..
