Title: Terminal services error
Post by: DSmith on March 08, 2005, 11:21:34 am
Hello,

ICE.TCP.Pro 5.1.21

Network setup:

Single Windows 2000 Domain Controller that is also a Terminal Server.
5 user connect to a Unix server from the Terminal server, that's it.
The 5 users that connect from home are now getting a :
"Terminal Services are being run from this computer. A thin Client License required for Pro to run" the a "Connection error, can't create CAquiarius class window"

Now we've been running this program succesfully for over a year with the setup we have.
No changes were made that I'm away of.

Any tips on my next step or how to properly reinstall or point to the right license would be great!

I should add that the License Admin is installed on this same server.
in I go under the registry the ICE.TCP is 5.0 and 5.1 but the ICE.TCP.Admin is just 5.0
last year I downloaded the update and installed both at the same time.
If it matters.

Using PRO remotely (via terminal, citrix or remote desktop) requires a thin client license. Call sales for details.
