You shouldn't need to map keys if you have the terminal type set properly.

If you want to check out the how to map keys, it's version dependant and you didn't say what version you have.
If you have an older version with a paper manual, check under key mapping in there. The newer versions that come on CD have a manual in PDF format in the DOC directory on the disk.

The instructions for keymapping are here:

http://www.icetcp.com/support/keymap_ten.html

Standard terminal types should NOT require key remapping.

If you change the keymap, you need to restart Dejawin before the map takes effect.

If you are still having trouble after changing the mapping you can test you mapping by logging to a shell prompt (on SCO) and typing the command hd and hit enter.

Then press the keys you mapped,
Hit enter,
Hit control-D
and hd will show you what the keys were sending.

If the keys are displaying properly you have another problem, like the wrong base terminal type. If the keys are NOT displaying properly, you entered the mapping wrong.
