Title: Problem getting sequence number
Post by: GraemeT on May 31, 2005, 12:44:45 am
I am trying to add an XP SP2 notebook to our Unix server using ICETCP Pro.  I upgraded to version 5.1.25 but am having problems getting a sequence number.

When I try to connect to the host I get the following error messages:

initializing copy protection failed (2,0).  Please run Configwizard
Connection error, can't create CAquiarius class window
Can not create new session.  Please run Configwizard.

So I go and run config wizard, and I get the following error messages.

note some options are not available under Windows NT 5.0
Sequence number checkbox deactivated
You must have administrative permissions to obtain a sequence number.

What is going on here as I am the administrator!

You probably had installed a previous unsupported version (<5.0.81) on the XP machine before you tried to install 5.1.25.

You need to remove some registry entries by hand.
