Hello,
I am running ICE.TCP 4.4 32-bit on a Windows XP machine. I cannot upgrade to PRO because of stubborn IT Director who is afraid of change... My question is why do I get a black line at the bottom of my screen when logged into ICE? It only happens when i go to FILE or CONFIGURATION (any of the top menu bars). Any suggestions/comments?
Thank You,
Tim

Hi Tim,
A black bar at the bottom of the terminal window would generally indicate you have selected a 24 line terminal type but the site you are connecting to is set at 25 lines (or possibly the other way around).
However, your indication that it's triggered by accessing the menus suggests the something else entirely; something to do with the OS--as those are windows operations. By this I mean the interaction with the program and windows (XP). I've seen similiar things happen on machines running low on resources, but that's highly unlikely on an XP machine.
What terminal type are you using?
