Title: TelnetPro & Dejavu OCX & LINUX
Post by: jmabbott on July 02, 2005, 11:19:34 am
Howdy. I am at version 5.1.25.  The TelnetPro, profile editor, Terminal Settings Section now has "Linux 24 Line" and "Linux 25 Line" as options.  Selecting either Linux selection works as expected - with TelnetPro.
1. Right clicking on TelnetPro and selecting "Change Terminal Type" does not show the two new choices. (Nor does right clicking on a dejavu control show the new choices.)
2. The OCX documentation "ICE.TCP Pro OLE Automation API Programmers Guide 1.1.pdf" does not show these two new choices.
3. Doing a "SetTerminalType(n)" using a value of 14,15, or 16 does not make the OCX perform like a Linux Terminal.
Thanks.

Hi John,

Sorry about that. You're correct, for the current version; setting the Terminal type to Linux can only be done in the profile editor.  This is on the list of improvements for a future version.
