Title: Connecting to host
Post by: deanna on July 08, 2005, 01:00:50 pm
Just helping out a customer to installing in at his home computer.  Having to copy the License and Data directory and ConfigWizard.exe over to a remote machine a little of a pain just to get a sequence number.   Now, the copy of ice.tcp pro he installed doesn't switch from "telnet" to "22" when the SSH checkbox is checked.  It remains "telnet" and thus can't connect to the host.  He using 5.x version

Putty and SecureNetterm connects.

Let me know if you know this problem.
thanks,

You put 22 into the box where telnet is when you enter the host as well as checking the ssh box
