We have 2500 computers running ICE.TCP Pro over a wide area network in multiple locations. When running ConfigWizard some machines (not all) get an out of memory error. Some it takes a while to return the error and others it takes 5 minutes to error out. Network issues have been investigated, additional memory added to the machined (512K).
OS: Win2K
Version 5.0.2195 Service Pack 4
MFG: Compaq

What version of PRO are you running?? (Help->Version info)
-
Sorry. Version 5.0.76

An update to 5.1.25 could help. It's possibly a problem with a windows library called mfc42.dll which sometimes gets modified on some systems. The 5.1.25 version doesn't use that library any more. However you will have to update your license server to be able to install this version. The breakpoint is 5.0.81. Older versions than that are incompatible with the newer license server. You should probably check the post on upgrading an older server to the current version.

Note that you really shouldn't try to use versions older than 5.0.81 on XP.
