I have two PCs that I needed to change the physical locations, to follow users with their programs. They both use ICE-TEN v. 4.7.14 and both were connecting and logging in fine...until I moved them. The settings are identical, but computer A now plugs into the UNIX cable that computer B used to use and vice versa. Now neither one will give me a login prompt. I move them back to their original UNIX cables and they work fine. I'm thinking this has something to do with the ttyxx designation, but don't know how to change that in ICE-TEN. Can somebody help me?

Nice job of debugging!
I would say first to check the baud rate. It's settable on a port by port basis on Unix and you may have different baud rates on the two machines.

You're brilliant Bob!!! After talking to you this morning I changed the adapter on computer A to computer B and vice versa and I now get a login prompt on both computers. Thanks again!!!
