Some users are ablt to view hex high values and others are not. There are not setting ing the ICE application to change this. We have distinguished that the issue lies in the user profile. We had to delete and recreate the users profile to let the view the hex high values. Is there an easier was to do ths?

Some terminal types can do this and others can't. Check to see that the terminal types are all the same as opn the PC's that work the way you want.
-
All of our terminals are set to VT220 (7-bit).
-
Under profiles -> Terminal Settings -> Advanced
check the box "Disable 8 bit character translation"
Try it both ways to see if it makes any difference. Note that if you change the default profile you'll have to close Pro and restart it.
-
When I do this and hit OK, I get: Telnet Pro - rims: TelenetPro.exe - Application Error. The application closes and the changes will not hold.

Works for me. I change the DEFAULT profile and go out and come back in, check the active profile and it's set. Perhaps you need to update?

I tried that on a different maching and I get a half block where the high values are supposed to be at. It is closer. At least there is a character there to show the high values. But I would really like to have the users see the high values.

Oh, I bet your character set is set wrong in the profile. Make sure it's set to ICE437 and not Courier or some such.
Check all settings against a working machine.

I checked all setting s against a working maching. All settings are the same. I changed one machine to ICE437 and checked the box "Disable 8 bit character translation"....and I get a half block where the high values are supposed to be at.

I give. Something is obviously different. If the same version of pro is on both machines, same fonts, same terminal type, same options, same login then the only difference is the PC, right??
