i successfully registered tcp ice pro on a client computer, and i see the license in the license admin program.
what happens if we later change the name of the computer, or the name of the user and the comment?
does that information need to be changed in the registry on the client computer and on the license server so it matches and the program will run?
or if the values between the license server and the client computer are different will it matter?
or as long as the license id on the client computer has a matching entry on the license server, it will work, it doesn't actually care what the computer, name or comment values are???

Since the license server is static it won't make any difference if you change the client computer name (except that is may confuse YOU when you try to view licenses in licenseadmin). If you want to keep the license database accurate on the licenseadmin server, after changing the computer/user name on a client machine you could delete the entry on the licenseadmin server and simply rerun configwizard on the client PC (unselect "get configuration profile"). When running configwizard remember to fill in BOTH the user name and comment fields.
