Hi guys, at work we have 4 computers networked together and 2 Brother M-1324 printers. We are using Telnet Pro v5.1.09 on 4 pc's with Windows 98se. I am going to try upgrading to v5.1.25 on Monday unless there is another solution.
The origional problem was that when printing an invoice it would always advance a blank page after the invoice every time and when re-printing it would advance a blank page before re-printing. I read the post on editing the registry values for DirectPrinting and it seems to have eliminated the page advancements, however now it prints a few lines properly... and then skips a few lines so the bottom 3/4 of the invoice lines do not match up to where they are supposed to be printed. Also it advances about 1/4 into the next page.
Thanks in advanced,
Sam

Try 5.1.25. You have more choices for printing there. The best order to try them in is: normal, direct and raster. One thing to remember is that the unix application is assuming you have some kind of printer and the codes it sends may not be compatible with your brother printer. If you use direct on 5.1.25 and still have the problem then the printer is not directly compatible with the unix app print codes. You can either change the unix app printer selection at this point (if you can) or try the raster print driver which emulates a simple line printer.
