Title: SSH Login Trouble
Post by: ngruppus on November 07, 2005, 12:34:54 pm
About a month ago we started using SSH and our users are complaining that they are getting the SSH Connection Failed message even when they put the correct password in.  I checked into this and they were right.

In the SSH Login box if I have the user enter their login name then press tab to move to the password box, enter their password and then press enter they are able to log in fine.

We are having a problem when a user enters their login name, then uses the mouse to move to the password box and then uses the mouse to click OK.  If they use the mouse they get the SSH Connection Failed message.  How can I fix this?

We are using ICETCP 4.4, 32bit 4.4.24
Emulation version 7.10a/32
Windows Interface Version: 8.5

Hi,

There shouldn't be any difference between tabbing or mouse clicking on the dialog box. We did make a fix for a problem with saving the password a while ago so this may be the problem you are seeing. Try updating the software to the current version .
