Title: CAquairias Class Error
Post by: abacus on November 24, 2005, 04:42:55 am
I have installed ICE TCP PRO on a Windows 95 PC. When I open a telnet session and try to connect to the host I get the message:-

Error....... CAquairias Class error can't connect

Run ConfigWizard

I have tried running ConfigWizard and reloaded the software. The same message appears.

On each occasion the installation appears fine. It picks up the licence without any problem.  I have a number of PC's on the network working OK (admittedly not WIN95). I CAN open a telnet session in DOS without any problems on this PC.

Any Ideas.......?

By the way I realise that CAquairias appear to be spelled incorrectly. I have tried a search on this forum for both spellings. This is how it is spelled in the error message.

Thank you.

You need to install winsock2 to use the 5.1 client on a windows 95 box. Also, you need to be running a current version.
